On December 28, Sinopec's landmark refining and chemical engineering in the new era & mdash; & mdash; Sino scientific refining and chemical integration project was completed in CCCC. At present, the overall plan of project start-up is being optimized in depth, and the preparations before putting into operation are advancing steadily.

With a total investment of more than 40 billion yuan, the first phase of China Science and technology refining and chemical industry project will build 10 million tons / year of oil refining, 800000 tons / year of ethylene series units, public works and other auxiliary facilities, which is the first three-year demonstration project in Sinopec's "two three-year" and "two ten-year" strategic plan.
The current international advanced production process control technology is adopted in the Sino science and technology refining project. The integrated refining design is fully considered, and the design, construction and management are carried out in accordance with the highest energy saving and emission reduction standards. The advanced refining production equipment and technology independently researched and developed in China has been widely used in the refining projects of China Science and Technology Corporation, and the localization rate is more than 93%. Among them, the overall refining process fully embodies the concept of molecular refining, and the key refining units are completely localized from process technology to core equipment, reaching the domestic leading and international advanced level.
The project was approved by the national development and Reform Commission in March 2011 and started construction in December 2016. After the project is put into operation in the first half of next year, it is estimated that the annual output value will exceed 60 billion yuan and the profit and tax will be nearly 30 billion yuan. The "banyan effect" generated by the construction of large projects will be brought into play, and the development of the downstream 100 billion level industrial economic chain will be promoted.
