The insulated joint is the general name of the pipe joint which requires the sealing performance, strength performance and electrical corrosion resistance required by buried steel pipe. It includes components, insulation boards, fillers, seal rings, short pipes and so on. The insulation joint is a replacement product which is improved according to the problems existing in the insulation flange. It is a necessary and important pressure element in the cathodic protection system of the steel pipeline, and is widely applied to the cathodic protection system of the steel pipeline.

Structure and principle of integral insulating joint is composed of the following parts: the upper and lower tube, sleeve, insulation, sealing and insulating coating. Between the upper and the lower pipe butt ends of the insulated joint, the insulating parts and the seals are sandwiched to form a double sealing structure with insulation property. The sleeve is welded directly through the groove or directly welded with the upper pipe, and the insulation parts and the upper and the lower pipes are firmly wrapped in the two parts, forming the "sealed container", which not only guarantees good insulation effect, but also greatly improves the bearing capacity of the insulation structure.
