The grinding of the steel ring shall be checked on the flat plate with the grinding paste by the coloring method.

When the solid particles in compressed air pass through the oil separator, they stay in the filter layer, which leads to the increasing pressure difference (resistance) of the oil separator. With the increase of the service time of the oil separator, when the pressure difference of the oil separator reaches 0.08 to 0.1MPa, the filter element must be replaced, otherwise the operation cost (power consumption) of the compressor will increase.
