Common filtering principles are divided into inertia, diffusion and electrostatic effect.
(1) Inertial action refers to the inertial movement of large particles of dust with the high-speed flow of natural gas, with a certain momentum. When the air flows around an obstacle, the dust deviates from the direction of the air flow due to inertia and hits the obstacle (blocked when it hits the filter). The bigger the particle size, the greater the inertia force, the greater the possibility of impacting obstacles, and the better the filtering effect.
(2) the effect of diffusion is that small particle dust is used as an irregular Brown movement. The smaller the dust, the stronger the irregular movement, the more opportunities to impact the obstacles, the better the filtering effect.
(3) Electrostatic action refers to the filter material with static electricity or dust with static electricity, filtering effect can be significantly improved. There are two main reasons: one is that the electrostatic force makes the dust change its trajectory and collide with obstacles; the other is that the electrostatic force makes the dust stick more firmly on the medium. The smaller particle dust in the gas is mainly Brown movement. The smaller the particle, the higher the efficiency of the filter; the larger the particle dust is, the larger the particle, the higher the efficiency of the filter. The part of dust that has no obvious diffusion and inertia is the most difficult to filter, and the lowest efficiency is the most representative for filter performance.
