Experimental Report of 345R(R-HIC) SSCC Resistance to Hydrogen-induced Cracks
Q345R (HIC) / Q345R (R-HIC) Q345R (R-HIC) refers to steel grade Q345R. Hydrogen induced cracking test (HIC) and sulfide stress corrosion test (SSCC) are carried out in corrosion test. The composition of melting analysis is required to be P < 0.015, S < 0.003, and finished product analysis P < 0.015, S < 0.004.
Quality Characteristics of Q345R (HIC)
1. The steel plate has low P and S content, high purity and good corrosion resistance to wet hydrogen sulfide.
2. The low temperature toughness is good. The steel plate with a thickness of more than 100 mm can be impacted transversely at - 30 C at 1/2 of the plate thickness.
3. Wugang is the thickest manufacturer of anti-HIC steel sheet in China. The thickest specification produced is 176mm, and the thickness direction Z35 can be guaranteed.
4. Hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC) performance test. The HIC test method implements NACE TM0284 or GB8650. The average values of the three samples are: CLR < 10%, CSR < 3%, CTR < 1%; CLR: percentage of crack length; CSR: percentage of crack sensitivity; CTR: percentage of crack thickness;
5. Excellent sulfide stress corrosion resistance (SSCC);
6. The hardness of steel plate surface is controllable. The product has good machinability and is easy to roll.
