Product Description
What is activated carbon
Activated carbon, also known as activated carbon black, is a black powder or granular amorphous carbon. In addition to carbon, the main component of activated carbon is oxygen. In the structure of activated carbon, microcrystalline carbon is arranged irregularly, and there are pores between the cross connections, which will produce defects in carbon structure when activated. Therefore, it is a kind of porous coal with low bulk density and large specific surface area. Activated carbon is odorless, tasteless, sand free, insoluble in any solvent, has selective adsorption capacity for various gases, and has high capacity adsorption capacity for organic pigments and nitrogenous bases.
Gas purification:
For example: use active carbon to recover solvent in the air containing solvent vapor; use active carbon filtration to deodorize the air; use in respirators and industrial respirators to prevent poisons, etc.
Gas separation:
For example: recycle benzene from city gas; recycle gasoline, propane and butane from natural gas; treat waste gas from Fischer Tropsch synthesis to recycle its diameter, etc
Liquid adsorption:
For example, in the sugar industry, the active carbon adsorption method is used to decolorize the sugar industry; in the chemical industry, the active carbon is used to decolorize the organic substances; the active carbon is used to purify the organic impurities in the electroplating process, so as to ensure the quality of the electroplating surface and the dephenolization of waste gas.
Components of waste gas from paint spraying and drying: benzene, dioxane, styrene, non methane total hydrocarbon, mainly the treatment of "triphenyls" and volatile organic waste gas (VOCs).
Two: colorless and transparent liquid; it is the product of two hydrogen substituted by methyl in benzene ring, and there are three kinds of isomers, i.e. o, m and P. in industry, two refers to the mixture of the above isomers. Two have pungent smell, inflammable, with ethanol, or can mix at will, insoluble in water. The boiling point is 137-140 ℃. Second, it belongs to low toxic chemicals
Influencing factors and solutions of activated carbon adsorption treatment:
The adsorption performance of activated carbon is not only related to the properties of activated carbon itself, but also related to the physical properties of adsorbate and the conditions of adsorption operation. It is a hot spot to modify activated carbon to meet the requirements of some kind of treatment, or to match some kind of suitable activated carbon varieties and operating conditions.
Application of activated carbon adsorption box in waste gas treatment of painting and painting:
Due to the low VOCs concentration and low emission temperature, the waste gas from automobile painting is generally treated by activated carbon adsorption, which is a mature, effective and low equipment cost process. Our company has used a kind of activated carbon adsorption catalytic integrated equipment, its principle is to use the combination process of adsorption concentration and catalytic combustion. The activated carbon adsorbs and concentrates VOCs, which can be reused after desorption. The desorbed concentrated VOCs can realize low-temperature combustion through the electric heating of catalyst, so as to achieve the purpose of pollutant treatment. The combustion hot air is recycled in the desorption of activated carbon, so as to achieve the purpose of energy saving.
Technical introduction:
Activated carbon is a kind of black powder, granular or pelletized amorphous carbon with porous structure. The main ingredient is carbon, and also contains a small amount of oxygen, hydrogen, sulfur, nitrogen and chlorine. It also has the fine structure of graphite, but the grains are small and the layers are irregular. It has a large surface area (500-1000 ㎡ / g). It has strong adsorption capacity and can adsorb gas, liquid or colloidal solid on its surface. The adsorption of gas and liquid is close to the quality of activated carbon itself. Its adsorption is selective, and non-sexual substances are easier to adsorb than sexual substances. In the same series of substances, the substances with higher boiling point are easier to be adsorbed, the higher the pressure, the lower the temperature, the higher the concentration, and the greater the adsorption capacity. On the contrary, decompression and heating are favorable for gas desorption.
How much mass of harmful substances can the activated carbon absorb
In general, the quality of high-quality coconut shell activated carbon can be close to or even reach its own quality
