(b) reducing the fluid velocity at the shell side can reduce the frequency of fluid induced vibration and is the most direct way to prevent the vibration of the tube bundle, but the heat transfer efficiency will also decrease;
C) reducing baffle spacing, increasing the wall thickness and the thickness of baffle, baffle pipe orifice plate and pipe by closely gap is not too large, we can optimize the structure design, increase the natural frequency of the tube, the flow induced vibration frequency is far from the natural frequency of tube;
(d) changing the bundle support form and adopting the new longitudinal flow tube support, such as baffle bar, hollow ring and round, special shaped hole, baffle plate, etc, can effectively eliminate the fluid induced vibration, and also reduce the pressure drop of the shell side
