The new national standard "Low Alloy High Strength Structural Steel" GB/T1591-2018 will be formally implemented on February 1, 2019. According to the new national standard, the Q345 steel brand will be cancelled and changed to Q355, which corresponds to the S355 steel brand of EU standard. Q345 is a steel material. It is low alloy steel (C< 0.2%) and widely used in bridges, vehicles, ships, buildings, pressure vessels and so on. Q stands for the yield of this material, the latter 345, that is, the yield value of this material, around 345. The yield value decreases with the increase of material thickness. The main changes in the new standards are as follows: 1. Modified the method of brand number representation The steel grade is composed of four parts: the first letter of Chinese Pinyin Q, the specified minimum yield strength value, the delivery status code, the quality grade symbol (B, C, D, E, F). Note 1: When the delivery status is hot rolling, the delivery status code AR or WAR can be omitted; when the delivery status is normal or normalized rolling, the delivery status code is N. Note 2: The minimum upper yield strength value specified by Q + and the code of delivery status are abbreviated as & ldquo; steel grade & rdquo;. Example: Q355ND. Among them: Q— & mdash; & mdash; & ldquo of steel yield strength; & rdquo; initials of Chinese phonetic alphabet; 355 & mdash; & mdash; & mdash; & mdash; & mdash; the minimum upper yield strength value specified, in megapa (MPa); N— & mdash; & mdash; delivery status is normalized or normalized rolling; D— & mdash; & mdash; quality grade D. 4.2 When the demander requests the steel plate to have thickness direction performance, a symbol representing thickness direction (Z direction) performance level, such as Q355NDZ25, will be added after the above specified grade. 2. Modify the lower yield strength to the upper yield strength The mechanical properties of different grades are stipulated according to different delivery conditions, and the lower yield strength is modified to the upper yield strength. The index is increased by 10 MPa~15 MPa correspondingly. 2. Define the size, shape, weight and allowable deviation requirements. 6.1 The dimension, shape, weight and allowable deviation of hot rolled steel bars shall comply with GB/T702, and the specific groups shall be specified in the contract. 6.2 Size, shape, weight and allowable deviation of hot rolled section steel shall conform to GB/T70 6, and specific groups shall be specified in the contract. 6.3 Size, shape, weight and allowable deviation of hot rolled steel sheets and strips shall comply with GB/T709, and the specific accuracy categories shall be specified in the contract. 6.4 Size, shape, weight and allowable deviation of hot rolled H-beam and split T-beam shall conform to GB/T11263. 6.5 Steel of other sizes, shapes and allowable deviations can be supplied by agreement between the supplier and the buyer. 4. The chemical composition of each brand is stipulated according to different delivery conditions, and the content of refined grain elements is modified. 5. Refinement of steel surface quality requirements 6. The test method and test rules were modified, and the sampling location of impact test was defined. 7.
