Global Top 2000 Listed Companies: 60 Chemical Enterprises, Which Chinese Companies Are on the List
Forbes magazine recently published its 2009 & ldquo; Top 10 Global Listed Companies 2000 & rdquo; in Top10, there are 5 Chinese companies, 4 American companies and 1 Dutch company.
There are 60 chemical enterprises on the list, with total assets of about 1.3 trillion US dollars and total profits of about 1.2 trillion US dollars. There are seven Chinese chemical enterprises in the top 2000, namely: Taihua, South Asia Plastics, Taipei Plastics, Wanhua Chemistry, Zhejiang Longsheng Group, Far East New Century and Jiantao Holdings.
There are 32 comprehensive chemical companies on the list: Dow Dupont leads the chemical industry, ranking 81, with revenue of $86 billion and profits of $3.8 billion in 2018; Basf ranks second, with revenue of $76.2 billion and profits of $5.6 billion; Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) ranks 122, with revenue of $45.1 billion and profits of $5.7 billion.
Three Chinese comprehensive chemical companies were listed, South Asia Plastics (649), Zhejiang Longsheng Group (1620) and Far East New Century (1684).
There are 28 professional chemical manufacturers on the list: Air Liquide in France ranks the highest, ranking 268, with revenue of 24.8 billion US dollars and profit of 2.5 billion US dollars; LG Chemistry in Korea ranks 468, with revenue of 25.6 billion US dollars and profit of 1.3 billion US dollars; Icon ranks 512, with revenue of 14.7 billion US dollars and profit of 1.4 billion US dollars.
There are four major chemical manufacturers in China, namely Taihua (609), Taisha Plastics (758), Wanhua Chemical (820) and Jiantao Holdings (1704).

According to the 2009 list, the top 10 companies are: Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, JPMorgan Chase, China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of America, Apple, Ping An, Bank of China, Bank of China, Shell Group and Wells Fargo Bank of America.
