According to the information from the Public Security Bureau of Lankao County, Henan Xinhong Thermal Insulation Material Co., Ltd. in Lankao County occurred deflagration during production at 6:40 on November 3, causing 8 deaths and 1 injury.

The report said that after the accident, investigation teams were set up at the municipal and county levels. After investigation and visits by relevant experts, on-site investigation and video review, it was initially identified that the cause of the accident was the concentration of propane leakage used by enterprises in the production process, and the explosion was triggered when operators opened and closed the distribution boxes.
It is understood that at present, the legal representative and the person in charge of the enterprise have been controlled by law, and the causes of the accident and the losses caused are being further verified. After rescue, the vital signs were stable, and the aftermath disposal work is proceeding steadily. The progress of accident investigation will be released in time.
The reasons for the detonation of distribution boxes are as follows:
1, the distribution box to maintain a long time overload work, this is easy to cause;
2. Fuse in fuse box should not be used as required.
3, sparks and arcs appear when switching operation or fuse fuses of distribution boxes.
4, the wiring of distribution boxes and electrical appliances, meters and other contacts are not very strong, the contact resistance is too large.
5. Switches, fuses and meters do not meet the actual capacity requirements of distribution boxes.
Another point is that the distribution box has not been cleaned for a long time, which leads to too much combustible dust inside, and the distribution box can not conduct good heat dissipation.
